Sassy Luke : Typography & Posters

Growing up in a fairly 'literary family', alongside my desire to work with typography, inspired me to take the leap into posters. My aim was to use ‘famous’ and ‘not so famous quotes’, often with an element of humour.

Occasionally, I take the liberty of subtly changing the quotation, as in "A tidy home is a wasted wife". I am particularly enamoured with the quotes of Oscar Wilde and Sir Winston Churchill, amongst others. I tend to add some of my characters, often balancing on the letters to put  the 'Sassy Luke style' into the posters.
